Jim Dine was the inspiration for two art projects that first graders worked on in Jauary & February. Students made clay pinch pots and shaped the clay into a heart shape! During the process of creating, drying the clay, firing the clay, glazing the clay, and re-firing the clay, students worked on a gadget printing lesson that incorporated the warm and cool colors, and also gave the students the opportunity to work on their tracing and cutting skills.
